My niece Madison turned 1 yesterday, she is absolutely adorable with the cheekiest little smile. I think she was laughing at me dancing, badly I might add, and it just really tickled her! I cannot believe a year has passed, it has gone by in a flash, its been lovely looking back through her pictures from previous shoots, she has changed so much x
Phoebe
Little phoebe, so sweet, she was a little tentative & then she saw her little cat Jess (teddy!) and she was beaming. This is her second shoot with me, she is very calm – unless she is being changed but then I’ve never known a baby like being changed! It really is a pleasure seeing these little ones grow up. The changes are remarkable in the first year x
Bertie, 5 months
This was such a lovely shoot, Bertie has the most amazing eyes which were awesome to photograph. Mum and Dad (aka Kerry and Mark) were also very chilled out and this led to a very relaxed shoot. I adore this shot especially as Bertie is lying on a blanket knitted by his nan, it makes it all the more special!
Chloe’s newborn shoot
This is Chloe, she was very calm and sleepy and we were able to get quite a few different poses. I love how curly she looks in this round basket, she was so snug I didn’t want too move her! Its funny to me that my two loves are newborn photography and landscape photography. I wonder if its something to do with the fact that I look for patterns when composing Landscape shots and I create patterns or shapes with newborn photography. I can’t do this with any other baby shoot as they are pretty much constantly moving! It’s also all about patience in landscape photography as it is with newborn photography. Either way, I enjoy nothing more than processing a great newborn or landscape shot and I hope that never changes!

Sam, 5 month old Session. March 31st 2015
My nephew Kaius, February 19th 2015
I photographed my nephew and nieces Tuesday afternoon, Kaius was not feeling so well but as soon as he got on the swing that lovely massive smile of his came out to play! I’ve been asked by quite a few people to do outdoor shoots, I’m hoping to start in the Spring so I thought I’d go and have a practice run. Fortunately for me my nieces and nephew are very used to seeing me with a camera, so they naturally pose for me, which makes my job of capturing them much easier 🙂 x
